Societies Act and regulations

How do I participate?

October 13 to December 14, 2017

There are several options to share your thoughts. Please review the issues identified during the pre-engagement before doing so.

In Whitehorse, over 75 people participated in open-house events and focus group meetings on Oct. 27 and 28. These sessions provided the opportunity for societies’ board members and interested public to share their experiences and challenges with the current legislation.

We are inviting society members, law firms and the public to provide their input on key issues regarding the existing Societies Act and regulations. We are also seeking input on how to streamline processes while maintaining transparency and accountability.
