Top of the World Highway Interpretive Plan
How do I participate?
An advisory committee consisting of representatives from Government of Yukon, Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in and the Klondike Visitors Association is guiding the process.
Open houses for the public to review the draft plan were held on October 24 and 25 in Whitehorse and Dawson, respectively.
What is this engagement about?
Work is underway to develop an interpretive plan for the Canadian section of the Top of the World Highway. The purpose of the plan is to convey key messages regarding cultural, heritage and natural resources of the area. This will enhance the experience for travellers by presenting stories and information about the highway.
How will my input make a difference?
Input will help improve the interpretation of information and related amenities available along the Top of the World Highway. Feedback will help inform the stories told and visual features used, and contribute to determining site planning priorities.
