What is this engagement about?
The Government of Yukon has developed Our Clean Future: A Yukon strategy for climate change, energy and a green economy, in collaboration with Yukon First Nations, transboundary First Nations, Inuvialuit and Yukon municipalities.
The draft strategy sets out a collective vision and includes over 140 actions that the Government of Yukon will take over the next 10 years.
We want to know what you think about our proposed approach to address climate change, meet our energy needs and build a green economy. How do you think we can improve this strategy?
How will my input make a difference?
The draft strategy reflects input we received during the first phase of public engagement in fall 2018. To learn more about that engagement, please have a look at the What We Heard report.
Your feedback will help us revise and improve the draft strategy and prepare a final strategy for climate change, energy and a green economy. We expect to release and start implementing the final strategy in 2020.
Where can I find related information?

Where can I find results?
The What We Heard report from the previous public engagement in fall 2018 is available here. We will prepare another What We Heard document to reflect all the input received during this second phase of engagement in 2020. It will be posted on the EngageYukon website.
